Arizona Diamondbacks catcher, Chris Snyder who fractured his testicle is bringing new meaning to the term 'bust a nut.' Or more appropriately he is restoring the literal meaning. Snyder got hit in the ball with a ball off of a foul tip and luckily he does not have a foul tip (as far as ShotsHeard knows). Wear a cup next time Snyder.
This is the most embarrassing injury since earlier in the season when Detroit manager Jim Leyland said Carlos Guillen was dealing with hemorrhoids. Oh maybe it is not as embarrassing. After all, hemorrhoids is an ailment whereas Snyder is now singing the Stone Temple Pilot line "I'm half the man I used to be."
