Paraguayan model, Leryn Franco also throws javelins in the Olympics. She finished 42nd at the 2004 Athens Olympics but she seems to be the consensus hottest athlete at the 2008 Olympics. But she was unable to medal after reaching the 2008 Olympics finals.
Americans were disappointed that Franco could not get the first medal in the 2008 Olympics for her little country of 6.8 million people. OK, maybe we just wanted to see the hottest Olympian on the podium. But she left a calendar behind that will be hanging on walls long after 2008 has expired.
The sad thing is we might have seen more of her if it was not for Amanda Beard's nude PETA poster. OK, maybe it is not so sad.
