Appearing to be around 4 or 5 years old, some locals came out to express their pain, and pay their respects.
Locals struggle to find words to express the hurt they feel, while others struggle to come to grips with anger, shock, and disbelief.
CPS records throughout the northeast are being poured through while people everywhere are being asked about a relative or neighbor:
1. Did you notice a boy left alone?
2. Did a single mother or single father recently appear depressed, or have a new boyfriend or girlfriend?
3. Did a couple talk about moving?
4. Any transients with a small boy suddenly show up only to leave?
Are you missing your nephew or grandson? Do you only get excuses when you ask to see him?
Notice any recent drug activity of a neighbor with a small boy?
(NECN) - Maine police asking for help as they investigate the mysterious death of a young boy. The boy's body was found off the side of this dirt road in South Berwick, Maine. It was left covered up, and about 35 feet into the woods. Police are still trying to identify the boy and are looking for a blue pick-up truck seen in the area. It's a newer model Toyota Tacoma.
No one has reported this boy missing and there's no cause of death at this time.
Police have released a computer-generated picture to show what he looks like and what clothes he was wearing - he has blonde hair and blue eyes. They also say, he's 45 pounds, 3 feet, 8 inches tall, and about 5 years old.
