Casey Anthony planned to kill Caylee. She researched ways and means of accomplishing this. She wrote about it in her diary. On June 16th, 2008, Casey Anthony followed through with her plans and executed her own daughter in cold blood by taping her mouth closed and taping her nose closed; cutting off all oxygen, as Caylee struggled to scream and get air but to no avail.
June 16th is the critical day in the trial.
On the very day which Caylee died, Casey was back texting and online.
What did Casey research online on the day Caylee was murdered?
Her computer was confiscated and in following rules of discovery, the Prosecution not only gave to Jose Baez the information, the state gave the entire hard drive to Jose Baez so he would be prepared to answer about Casey Anthony's June 16 online activity; the day in question.
Jose Baez was given the entire hard drive to access everything he would need to rebut the State's evidence. He was also given tax payer dollars to hire computer experts to delineate all the necessary information from the computer in order to defend his client. What did Baez spend the money on?
Baez told the court that he wasn't prepared.
Judge Perry appeared stunned.
So much so, that Judge Perry reminded Baez of his own opening statement in which he claimed that Caylee died on June 16th.
Baez complained that the prosecution gave him too much information by giving him the hard drive.
He appears to be literally working towards a mistrial by means of ineffective counsel.
Jose Baez appears to have done little to nothing in the 3 years that he has billed the State of Florida.
He will certainly face consequences when this trial is over.
