During tonight's Halloween match-up that featured the San Antonio Spurs hosting the Sacramento Kings, a bat swooped down toward the court. The Spurs coyote mascot came out onto the court dressed in a batman costume and holding a net. But he was real batman or the real bat catcher. That distinction would belong to Manu Ginobili.On its second swoop down onto the court the bat sent players scurrying and ducking for cover. But ole eagle eyed Manu Ginobili waited for the bat to swoop by him and then batted the bat down with his patented quick hands. He then picked it up so that the bat could be escorted out of the arena.
We have no word yet on whether the bat was indeed a vampire. But we now know that the man they call Obi Wan Ginobili is indeed 'Batman.'
