Lebron is 'The King' (In Cleveland)

NBA fans know that the kingpin of the 2010 free agent class will be Lebron James (pun intended). But despite the suspense, we know that nothing will really be decided until that time. In the meantime only Cleveland are tripping out and only New York fans are bugging out at the prospect of landing the next Broadway star.

But if the opening TV ratings for the NBA season are any indication of the love LBJ might feel in his home state of Ohio then maybe the Cavs fans worries can be put on simmer at least for now.

The Cleveland/Boston game drew a 20.0 rating in Cleveland, while compared to only a 8.3 rating in Boston. But before you think Boston fans are taking their team for granted, remember that the opening game that featured both Los Angeles teams (the Lakers and Clippers) drew only a 6.2 rating in the Los Angeles market. But with limited due respect to the Los Angeles fans, it was a game that featured the Clippers.
