Deceptive People and Self Image

Deceptive people are those who practice deception as part of their norm in life.  They often are heard using qualifying language such as "possibly, maybe, sort of..." which, to them, always leaves open a response if caught.  "Honest to God, Swear to God, Honestly now, the real truth" and so on are part of their habitual language.  They use these expressions so often, due to even low level deception, that when they speak the truth, they often feel the need to use a term like this for emphasis.

Deceptive people are highly concerned with image.

Because they practice their craft often, their success is based upon how people perceive them.  Where as most people don't care all that much what others think, deceptive people are obsessed with it.  A deceptive person will even seek out media, much to their own demise, just to 'set the record straight'; not on some major point in life, but upon everything.  They need to deceive others to protect their own comfort level so if they are seen as a liar, they may become even more visible in the media, even though as a crime perpetrator, it is not in their best interest:

it is as if they cannot help it.  They must convince others that they are telling the 'truth' and cannot be seen as a liar.

When their story is not believed, they will take to the airways and repeat it, as often as necessary.  The problem with this is that they are not working from memory (from experiential memory) but from fabrication so the details will change often.  When this happens, the subject will then provide further proof by using a generous amount of "self referencing" in their accounts with such things as "like I said", "like I said before", "as I told the officer" and literally reference their previous accounts, as they know they are being deceptive and not working from a memory that they experienced.

When a highly deceptive person is caught, red handed in a lie, the reaction will be different than most.  Rather than say "I lied; it was wrong" because of being caught, the sociopathic liar will dig in her heels and defend her lie.

Cindy Anthony, who had won over some sympathy from followers of the Casey Anthony case when she testified for the State in May, has now perverted justice by perjury, and has been caught.

Yet, she has now announced, through her attorney, that she didn't lie, but did search on chloroform, even though her lies have been exposed.

Cindy Anthony lied under oath to God, words she herself repeated "so help me God" and has committed a number of crimes since her granddaughter's murder, including obstruction of justice, lying to law enforcement, destroying evidence and now perjury.

If Judge Belvin Perry sentenced a young man to 6 days in jail who scratched his face with his middle finger, in a comedic attempt while not impacting the trial, what should be the sentence for one who sought to pervert justice, and could have changed the entire focus of justice in the trial from Murder One to reduced charges with her perjury?

Mark Littman should be ashamed of himself, broadcasting her lies.  He has found his 15 minutes and in order to be the lawyer of account as Cindy now makes her millions, he must bow before Cindy and bank her lies for her.

Nancy Grace should be ashamed of herself for seeing such obvious criminal behavior, yet in hopes of landing Cindy Anthony's exclusive interview, continues to insult the very principle of justice that she claims her show is about when she defends Cindy Anthony.

As one attorney rebuked her, she was caught and had to wait until he stopped speaking in order to return to her phony defense of Cindy.

Cindy Anthony perverted justice by perjury, shamed the memory of Caylee, and insulted the justice system.

When Cindy Anthony sent a "Mother's Day" card to Casey, she utterly spit upon the memory of Caylee, but by perjuring, she showed how the original insult was not by accident.

Cindy Anthony will face charges and Judge Perry will be forced to sentence her, if it is brought before him, to a sentence far more serious than the 6 days he gave the man who made the gesture to Jeff Ashton.  Cindy's crimes were far worse.

But as a deceptive person, Cindy could not leave it alone.  Just as she did in 2008, she again has insulted the intelligence of the public and whatever sympathy she gained will now be lost.

Nancy Grace should stand up and take notice.  Since she is all about ratings in her attempt to land an interview with Cindy Anthony, she should consider how many viewers she may lose now that Cindy is "back" to being Cindy, standing by her lies and continuing to hold the public at large in contempt, just as Casey held her in contempt.

What is next for Cindy Anthony, but to claim that Caylee is alive, kidnapped, and that she must head her own organization, Kid Finders, in order to find Caylee and help other "victims."

Cindy was herself on the stand and now will insult the public by standing by her lies.

Let us hope the public says "no more lies" when it comes to her book or the upcoming cheesy made-for-TV movie in which will likely have a beautiful actress playing Cindy.
