Susan Powell, the Utah mother of two missing since 2009, is to be searched for again, with police in Utah planning to search the remote mountain desert around Ely, Nev. on Friday.
The last sighting of Powell was at her West Valley City home on Dec. 6, 2009. Powell was 28 and the mother of boys ages 2 and 4 when she was reported missing.
West Valley City police Sgt. Mike Powell says the search is based on a new lead in the case. Few details about the lead are known, reports CBS affiliate KUTV.
Husband Joshua Powell says he last saw his wife before he left for an after-dark camping trip with the boys on Dec. 7 in below-freezing temperatures.
From that first day almost two years ago, Susan Powell's friends and family have pointd the finger of blame at Joshua.
Joshua Powell said back in December, 2009, "I didn't do anything. I mean, I don't know where she's at. I don't even know where to start looking,” KUTV reports.

We flag anything reported in the negative as sensitive or important.  Here, in just 3 short sentences, he reports in the negative three times.  The indication of deception would be regarding:
a.  What he did do
b.  Where she is "at"
c.  Where searchers would begin to search in order to learn where she is "at"

For their part, police in West Valley, Utah, have called Powell "a person of interest" in the case, although he has never been named a suspect.
Since his wife's disappearance, Joshua Powell has had custody of the couple's kids and moved with them to Washington State.
In the past 20 months, there have been no arrests, no leads, and no evidence had surfaced until word of the search that was to begin today emerged.
Investigators on the case held a press conference this morning, reports KUTV.
On Thursday, Joshua Powell said, "I couldn't be happier to see this break in the case.
“I think more of the truth needs to come out there - more about Susan, and possibly even more about our family,” he said.
Note that "more of the truth" rather than the "truth", which indicates he is withholding information.  Note that he and his father have disparaged the victim and have suggested, by projection, that they are, both men, very much alike.  Both men suggested immorality on the part of Susan.  The "more about Susan" is likely more of the lies he sought to spread about her, both he and his father, which read more like projection than truth.  (see analysis)

Please note that disparagement of a victim is  an indicator of guilt.
Susan's father, Chuck Cox, says any news is positive news. "We don't think she's coming back," he said, "But we have hope that she's coming back,” KUTV reports.
Note the pronoun "we" here, as the father speaks for the family.  When this is done, we expect to see consistency.  Note the difference between head and heart; thought and emotion, reason and feeling.  He and his wife have had a long time to process what has happened to Susan.
