7-year-old boy's body found in Thibodaux

A Thibodaux man has been charged with first degree murder of a 7-year-old boy, whose decapitated body was found in front of 414 West 7th St. around noon on Sunday.
30-year-old Jeremiah Wright, the boyfriend of the 7-year-old's mother, was arrested and his bond is set for $5,000,000.
The boy was identified as Jori Lirette. Wright dismembered the boy's head over the kitchen sink of their home. Lirette's head was found in front of his home, while his body was located in a white garbage bag just down the road.
Lirette had cerebral palsy and had to use a wheelchair.
There are no details of the homicide at this time involving wounds on his body or how he died. 9News will have the latest at 10 p.m.
